Dr. Kamal N. Morar

Dr. Kamal N. Morar is a native of Dayton, Ohio. He completed high school here at Centerville High School and went on to college at the University of Cincinnati. After medical school, he completed an internship in general surgery followed by a diagnostic radiology residency. He is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology. After his residency he completed a fellowship in Vascular Interventional Radiology at the Cleveland Clinic. The Cleveland Clinic has one of the largest experiences in the country with certain advance interventional radiology procedures. These procedures include uterine fibroid embolization, interventional oncology procedures, and various venous interventions.
Currently, in addition to his private practice, he is on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital and Dayton Heart Hospital where he performs his more involved invasive procedures. He has published several papers on the topics of CT guided percutaneous procedures, arterial embolization procedures, uterine fibroid embolization procedure, and the vertebroplasty procedure. His intent and focus is to bring innovative minimally invasive procedures to the Dayton community as a whole. Many of the procedures that are offered by Dayton Interventional Radiology are unknown to many physicians and patients. His goal with his partner, Dr. Syed, is to create an awareness program so that patients have options for minimally invasive treatments.
Dr. Mubin Syed

Dr. Mubin Syed has been in practice in the Dayton and Springfield area over the past ten years. He attended college and medical school at Boston University His diagnostic radiology residency and fellowship training in both Vascular/Interventional radiology and Neuroradiology were at Indiana University Medical Center.
In addition to his office practice, he is on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital and Dayton Heart Hospital in Dayton and will soon be on staff at Doctor's Hospital in Columbus. He has published several papers on vertebroplasty, and embolization procedures. Furthermore he has taught vertebroplasty to hundreds of physicians throughout the U.S. and Canada. One of his other areas of expertise is catheter-directed removal of deep vein thrombosis for which he has given several lectures to physicians locally and nationally. In addition his other areas of focus include minimally invasive treatment for back pain, critical limb ischemia to prevent amputation, as well as uterine fibroids. Together with Dr. Morar he hopes to introduce the public to minimally invasive treatment that are on the cutting edge of medicine.
